Okay, now let's add a happy little bush. Use the same method for the tree
foliage, with the same palatte.
Use black first.

Add the dark green in clumps.

Add the light green on the top of the clumps.

Pixilate!

Added some more bushes of different colors to fill up space.

For the grass, start by making a new layer below everything on the canvas.
Make the parts you want as grass solid black.

Now spread around various shades of green for the grass, and various shades
of brown for dirt.
The colors I used if needed:

I used a smudge tool size of 30, strength 20% set to NORMAL.
Smudge away to make any crazy patterns you want.
Smudging horizontally is best. Smudge vertically to make hills.

Okay, now I take the grass brush (#112)
Size it to about 16px.
Turn the opacity way down to about 30-35%.
Distribute the grass all over the green parts.
Closer to the foreground, turn the brush size up to around 20-22px.
Towards the horizon, turn the brush down to around 10-12px.

I added some scratches in the path, and dodged it a bit.

Now I added some shadows beside the rocks and trees with the BURN tool, located
with the dodge tool.
Settings I used were HIGHLIGHTS, Exposure: 30%
Make the shadows on the shaded side of the trees and rocks.

Next I simply pixilated the ground.
